JGJ Web Design Process
After you've read through this page, you can schedule a free consultation. You'll be able to ask me any questions you have before booking!
Once you're ready to move forward, we'll both need to sign my contract so that we're fully protected before we begin working together.
You’ll pay a non-refundable 20% deposit to secure your spot on my schedule. Then 30% is due at the start of the project and the final 50% is due when the website is ready to be moved to your domain.
I'll add you to my project management system, Asana. This is where we'll communicate and keep all your files and feedback. Don't worry - I'll provide you with a video tutorial on how to use it!
You'll need to complete a web design questionnaire. Then you'll need to upload all your website content to Asana.
1-2 weeks before your project begins, we'll get on a 30 minute call if you're up for it. This is the perfect time to ask any last-minute questions you may have!
I'll design and layout your homepage and interior pages on my development server. You'll have two rounds of revisions for each page. After you're approval, I'll move your new website to your domain.
Before I move your website to your domain, you'll need to complete your final payment. Once payment is made, I'll move your website files to your hosting server.
Don't worry, I'm not going to leave you to figure out how to use your website all by yourself. We'll set up a 30 minute consult call where I walk you through how to use and update your website.

What system do you use to build a website?
My preferred platform for building websites is WordPress.
Will you help me purchase a domain and hosting?
Absolutely! It can be very confusing choosing a registrar and hosting company. I’m happy to walk you through the steps or make the purchase for you on your behalf. Even if I help with the purchase, all accounts will be in your name so that you have complete ownership.
Can you help me with write my content?
I’ve partnered with an excellent copywriter who can write or edit your content for you. If you need that type of service, let me know and I’ll arrange it for you.
How long does a website project take?
A standard website project takes around 4-6 weeks to complete. If the website project includes a customer relationship management system with data integration, then the project can take around 8 weeks or more. Once I have the exact specifications of a website project I can give a closer estimate.
What’s the price for a website?
It really depends on your company’s online goals and budget. Some factors we consider in pricing is custom design vs. premade design, eCommerce needs, CRM needs, marketing goals and the amount of pages. Web packages start at $3,500. Contact JGJ to discuss your web project.
I can't afford any of your packages. Can you still help?
If you need a budget friendly solution and you’re a Do-It-Yourself (DIY) person, schedule a call with me to see if my ‘DIY WordPress Website‘ package is right for you. This package gets you started without having to deal with the installation and technical details of building a website. Plus you’ll get access to training videos that will help you build your website and 1 year website maintenance. This package starts at $950.
What if I need additional services that are not in your website packages?
If you have a custom project that needs additional or specialized services not included in any of my website packages, let’s schedule a call to discuss your full needs. If I can’t meet your needs, I may be able to recommend a service provider that can meet your needs.
Do you provide hosting?
I currently do not offer hosting service, but I recommend and can set your website up on my preferred hosting provider, SiteGround. I’ll help you choose the right package, establish an account and move your website on their server. I like SiteGround because their servers are optimized for WordPress, they have a weekly malware scan service, they have a great backup and restore service, and fast, quality customer service.
Do you offer website maintenance?
Yes, I do! If you prefer not to get caught up in the technical details of your website, I provide WordPress maintenance service. I’ll monitor your website and automatically update your plugins and WordPress when updates are available. I’ll also keep a backup of your website and provide reports on the updates made to your website
