Small Business Web Design
Beautiful Websites that Captures the Heart of Who You Are and What You Do
Does your web presence persuade people to contact you?
Even if you don’t generate a lot of business from the web right now, prospects do check out your website after they’ve met you or even after they’ve been referred to you. Let’s not pretend that looks and first impressions don’t matter— because they do…even on the web!
Let me design a professional, contemporary website that reflects what you do, to the audience you want to work with, in a style and design that reflects who you are.
When working with me, you’ll get a custom website, designed around your content and the type of audience you seek, while reflecting your personality and style.
Below are the websites of therapists, coaches, consultants and freelancers that I’ve worked with.
Frequently Asked Questions
What do you use to build the website?
I work with WordPress, which is a popular content management system that allows website owners to easily update and manage their websites with little to no experience.
Do you provide content and images for my website?
No, I do not provide or write content. It’s your responsibility to provide the content for the website. If you provide me with enough content to work with, I can make suggestions for how to optimize it for search engines and web visitors depending on the package you choose.
If you need photos, I’ll provide suggestions for commercial, royalty-free stock images, and freely usable images.
How long will it take to setup my website?
Turn-around time is 10 business days after your content and images are received.
Will my website be down as you setup the new one?
No! I develop your website on my server and once the website is complete, I move it to your web hosting server.
Is hosting, domain name and WordPress installation included?
No, web hosting, domain name and WordPress installation are not included in the price of a website packages. These are charged separately.
There’s a $50 installation fee for WordPress if you need help with this. This does not include the cost that the hosting company charges. Hosting fee varies. I recommend SiteGround hosting.
If you need help purchasing a domain name, the fee is $35 in addition to the cost of the domain name.
What other fees do I need to be aware of?
You’ll need website hosting and a domain, both of which have their own separate costs.
If you don’t want to manage the maintenance of WordPress and plugins, you can outsource that service. Depending on what web package you choose, web maintenance may be included.
You can purchase my web maintenance plan separately and choose a monthly ($25) or annual ($275) plan.
Additional costs can also arise if you choose to have extra features added to your website that are not part of a package price.
Can I add WordPress training videos to the Basic or Plus Package?
Yes! You can add 1-year access to the WordPress training videos for $59.
Do you provide training?
Depending on the website package you choose, you can have access to over 200 WordPress video tutorials right from within the admin area of your website.
You can also hire me for one-on-one training!
